Welcome to the UNESCO Chair ICH Projects database.

Learning from other experiences and using each others expertise are ways to improve your own project work.
The UNESCO Chair welcomes the introduction of project portfolios both from ongoing and already concluded projects in the area of
Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) whose innovative, creative and engaging practices are worth sharing and whose high level of critical reflection helps to improve future project performances.

The ICH Projects database allows you to search for best practice examples via advanced search options which allow you to narrow down your search using multiple variables (project name, institution, country, intangible heritage domains, concluded or ongoing, etc.).

Once you initiate a search for a specific set of records, you'll receive a list of search results. To see the whole record of a project, just click on the view icon.

Do you want to register an ICH Project?

If you are the project manager or an authorised project collaborator you just need to register and fill in the project data.

The project portfolio will be open to the public and available on-line. At the end of the form, you will have to confirm that the project agreed to the online display of its data. It is the responsibility of the person who registers the project to secure this agreement. If you do not press the confirmation button, the project will not enter the database.

How can you update or remove the project portfolio?

If you are the person in charge of registering the project or an authorised co-user of the project password, you can complete or update the portfolio at any time by logging-in to this portal. Without occasional updating, this database will be of little use. You can also login and use the delete icon to remove the project record from the ICH Projects database.
